The City of South Lake Tahoe Purchasing Division is dedicated to the principles of competition and fairness. Our goal is to ensure that South Lake Tahoe taxpayers receive the maximum value for every expenditure. Towards that goal, we encourage qualified vendors to participate in doing business with the City of South Lake Tahoe.

City of South Lake Tahoe Purchasing Division Mission Statement
- To manage and coordinate the procurement of the City's supplies and services with integrity and professionalism, providing support, counsel and service to the organization and the community.
- To negotiate, purchase and contract in an open, competitive, fair manner; securing maximum value for public funds through ethical, effective purchasing practices and high standards of excellence.
- To recognize that vendors are the experts in providing new and better products/methods and encourage them to share their knowledge and expertise.
All bids/proposals will be received in the Purchasing Division. The Purchasing Division is located in the South Lake Tahoe Airport, 1901 Airport Road, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150. Business hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
